Madrid has always been a city of immigrants and people passing through: because of this it has become out-going and accessible as few others are.
Madrid is synonimous for art galleries, corridas, night life and open air meals, but the city also offers numerous covered and outdoor swimming pools. And the people, with their exuberance and their strong sense of equality and their desire for indipendence, will conquer you. It is an unimaginable city until you finally see it, incredible when you are there and unforgettable after you leave it.
