Third championship in Cheecoting
A Guinness track for the return of the old game which has become a fashion nowadays. Rimini beach will host for the third consecutive year, the championship in cheecoting: small coloured glass balls which will challenge each other in tunnels, ascents, descents, and jumps which will give the beat to the difficult and spectacular sandy path of the huge tracks, signed by the sand artist Antonio Molin. The event will take place during a weekend at the end of April.

For the third time the Polo “sbarca” comes back to Rimini beach. After the huge success of the precedent editions, the king sport has chosen, also this time, the capital of entertainment for its spectacular scenery which overlooks the sea: for three long days, tens of splendid breed-horses will challenge each other on the sand of the free beach close to Rimini por,t to win the victory and guarantee a wonderful event.

Every day, Rimini will give you the welcome with a feast aimed at entertainment and fun, culture, sport, music, tradition, gastronomy and the joy of living. There are more than five hundred small and big rendezvous, organised by the tourist committees, which will wait for you from June till September: one hundred days of celebration that will animate the places,  the little streets but most of all, the seashore from Torre Pedrera until Miramare.

Walking in the past
From June till mid-September, every Tuesday, the appointment with the guided path will be waiting for you, at Rimini historical centre with the possibility of visiting the Museum of the city. The path includes the most significant monuments of the city, testimony of different periods, from the Roman ones till the Medieval, the Renaissance period and the modern one too, the places and the principle streets, finishing after the participants requests, in the hall of the Citizen’s museum, the guardians of the local historical and artistic heritage.

The pink night
Forty kilometres of celebration on the coast. For the second consecutive year, the night on the coast will be painted in pink with beaches, shops, open museums, shows and animation everywhere. This night is dedicated to entertainment, to relations between persons, feelings. At midnight, fireworks in pink will shine from Bellaria Igea Marina till Cattolica.

A whole month will be completely dedicated to our small guests and their parents. In the programme there is a wide range of events and shows, starting with “Cartoon club”, the XXIII international festival of the animated cinema and the comic strips which will be able to lead you in their world of comics, shows, cartoons on the beach, market cartoons, co splay challenges and concerts, for a whole month.

Meeting with the author
Meeting Vittorio Sgarbi, Bruno Vespa, Michele Santoro, but also Flavio Oreglio or Enzo Iachetti, this is what can happen from July till September in the suggestive frame of Rimini port where, for sixteen years, the manifestation “ meeting with the author” has been taking place. The exhibition organised by the association of “the book in the city” and with the collaboration of Rimini municipality, is also an occasion for unemployed people to come closer to the world of the book and to be in contact with one’s proper “Benjamin”.
